Immigrants!

Give me your tired, your poor,
your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door. . .
so I can sick the national guard on them!

its time to embrace the inner immigrant in all of us
so this week we are waving at YOU.
weather you are coming here from another country
or another state;
weather temporary or permanent
there is enough boxed wine for all!

actually there is never enough
so contribute to the damn society you leaches
and while you are at it stop overrunning our schools
and destroying our healthcare
but if you could keep up the low wage labor that would be great!

so come swaddled in your traditional garb
and be prepared to tell your tale of woe
forced name changes and fences climbed. . .

05/08/06
specifying is useless. you will be late as the lazy immigrants that you are
